Who We Are. What We Do
For more than 80 years, the Chester First Aid Squad has provided free, volunteer-based emergency medical services to Chester Township, Chester Borough, and surrounding communities.
Our volunteers are trained as Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), Emergency Medical Responders (EMRs) and Drivers.
We cover a 31-square mile jurisdiction serving over 9,400 Chester residents, plus surrounding communities if called.
Our mission is simple: to provide skilled, compassionate care to our community when it’s needed most.
Our Members
Behind every call is a team of committed first responders—EMTs, EMRs, drivers, and officers—who train continuously. Our members come from all walks of life but share one mission: serving Chester with professionalism and compassion.
The Chester First Aid Squad is certified by the US Department of Transportation and the NJ Department of Health.
